My Review

My cats love to be high and to claw at things, so a large cat tree is perfect for them. Every pole on Kitty Power Paws The Ritz from Prevue Pet Products is wrapped with jute rope that my cats love to paw at. I would say scratch but they are declawed. They still have that cat instinct to scratch at it, it’s cute.

This was a chore to put together. The instructions were hard to follow and you have to put it together upside down. We gave up on the directions and figured it out by ourselves. It wasn’t too difficult to figure out, once you know it has to go together upside down.  It’s a two person job for sure. Mine isn’t put together right, but I actually like it better this way. I put the second platform on the opposite side, instead of it being further from the pet bed, it’s closer. This way makes it easier for my senior kitty to get up on it. Her joints are all stiff and it’s harder for her to move and jump. She loves to lay in the lower bed. The younger cats adventure up higher.

The platforms are a nice size and it’s very sturdy. They are also easy to clean with a lint roller. The pet beds, in my opinion, could use more cushion. I love that the cat tree has some play stations at different levels. When I spray some catnip spray on the balls, my cats love it. It’s so fun watching them play on it. It gives you a sense of accomplishment after the hard work of putting it together.

Sometimes during the day, I will move the cat tree in front of a window so the cats can get some sun, they really like it when I do that. They have fun with its normal location as well. They have fun with the mirrors on the wall. It’s also right by a vent, so they lay on it for AC or heat.

Overall the Kitty Power Paws The Ritz Cat Tree is very sturdy and cat-friendly. It didn’t intimidate my cats one bit. Plenty of room for multiple cats to enjoy it at the same time. It’s great for play time and nap time. 🙂

  1. I like the plush look of this. Wonder how long that look would last? And if the instructions are hard to understand to put it together, I’d have to have a friend do it for me. LOL.

  2. My fuzzy butts could have so much fun on this. Especially Sweet Pea she loves to get up high on stuff.

  3. I would love to have this for my multicat household. This would keep them entertained for hours.

  4. This would be perfect for me to win!! I got a 4 year old cat and adopting a new kitty baby this Saturday!!

  5. I have one similar that has gotten so much use from our 4 cats I will have to replace soon. I think an additional one would be handy.

  6. I have 4 cats and like you i have a senior cat and a special needs cat. My 13 year old baby girl still loves to play, she chases her tail like a dog and my special needs has a bone disorder in both back legs but she doesn’t let it stop her. All my babies would love this cat tree, theirs has seen better days! Your baby is absolutely gorgeous too and thanks for sharing your thoughts.

  7. Such cute photos! My kitty would love one of these trees. They look well made and very soft too.

  8. We have a new kitten who climbs on everything! She would love her own tower to play on and explore! This tower looks amazing!

  9. We have two cats, but one of them was having medical issues and peed on their cat tree a number of times. We really need a new one, and this would be the perfect size for them! My Moko practically LIVES on the cat tree but I seriously need to replace it.

  10. I have a senior kitty also. Tigger turned 14 in April this year but in my opinion, doesn’t look it. He’s still moving pretty well, but he does sleep more. Playing is for much shorter intervals. I’ve always wanted to get a cat tree for Tigger especially for looking out the window. He really enjoys bird watching, school bus watching & the occasional critter going by. Then of course, back to sleep! I think the cat tree would give him a bit more stimulation that I think he needs. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

  11. I love the height of this and how easy this is to put together. I know my cats would love having something like this to play and relax on.

  13. My cats love to climb and play. This looks like a great cat tree and I know my kitties would love one!
