Pet Magasin Cat Self Heated Bed

  • Package includes two mats: 1 large (28.5″ x 34.5″) and 1 small (17″ x 11″)
  • Self-heating. Includes a layer of mylar film, the same super-insulating material used in spacesuits. Absorbs, holds, and reflects your pet’s body heat, and insulates them from cold floors
  • Super comfy. A velvety cover on top and padded with thick, soft, hypoallergenic foam that will stay springy for years
  • Rubberized underside so they stay where you put them, and won’t be a slipping danger if someone steps on them

My Review

It’s that time of year here in Southwest Wisconsin to turn on the heat. It’s pretty chilly not only for us humans but for our furry friends too. If you have cats you know they love to curl up into a little ( or big ) ball, usually on top of clean laundry or furniture. My cat rarely sleeps on the cold floor, so I placed the self-heated mat in my cats favorite sleeping places. When I lay on the couch the kitties usually follow me and take a nap by my feet. They love to curl up on this pet bed mat on the couch. During the day I place it on the cat tree or on top of my clean laundry that never gets put away. >.>

I love that it’s thin and easy to move from place to place. It’s also very easy to clean. Simply run a lint brush across it or toss it into the washing machine and let it air dry. The underside is said to be anti-slip, but it does. When the mat is on the floor, play time is on! My cats love pouncing on it and sliding across the floor.

My dog uses the large Pet Magasin Self Heated Bed. My dog follows me everywhere! My office isn’t that big so it’s nice that this mat doesn’t take up a lot of space. It’s highly functional and Jak finds it comfortable, as he always lays on it if it’s available to him. When we leave the office I can pick it up, fold it, and store it for next time.

This pet bed is so soft! I would like a pillow made out of it. 😀

  1. I would love to try this for my dogs. I know it said you could machine wash it and air dry, but would that hurt the self-heating of it over time?
