School of Wash Product Review

About School of Wash: A mother and daughter are behind the creations at School of Wash. A simple statement from the daughter one day, asking why she had to use a shampoo that has a baby on it when she is no longer a baby, got the mom thinking of ways to make bathtime fun for her growing girl. That is when School of Wash came about. The family has strong feelings about helping others, so they also donate products to an organization called Lily Pad that helps women and children that have been sexually abused.

I received some products for free in hopes I would mention them on my blog. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated or persuaded by anyone to write this review.

My Review: After looking over this companies lovely website and reading about them and their cause, I was in awe and knew I had to help spread the word about them. I love it when companies/brands contribute to an organization or charity of some kind. It usually ups the cost of the product, but it is so worth it to know you are helping someone. For every order that is $25 or more, they put together a Little Sunshine Bag which contains a 2-ounce bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and body washes for Lily Pad. They also have an option where you can buy a Little Sunshine Bag for a victim and one for yourself if you like. I don’t quite understand that one. If you just order a donation kit it costs $24. If you order one for yourself and a donation it will cost $48. For $48 you mine as well order $50 worth of products for yourself and they will donate two kits to Lily Pad on their own.  If you purchase the three 2 ounce bottles separately it only costs $20.90, so I don’t understand it. Anyway, I love that for every $25 you spend they donate to their charity.

School of Wash has 245 scents to choose from. It was so hard to choose which one to try. I decided on the sugar cookie scent.  My daughter and I both tried the products out.

The body wash was nice, very sudsy and smelled great. You don’t need to use much at all. It didn’t dry out our skin. We couldn’t smell the scent on our skin but using it during bath time was really nice.
With the shampoo, I had to use a third of the bottle on my hair. My hair is long and thick. It didn’t suds much at all. The shampoo was almost like water, very runny. It strips your hair of all oil. It didn’t leave my scalp dry or itchy. The shampoo cleans your hair but would like it to be thicker and suds more. I followed it up with conditioner. The conditioner I liked very much, it was thick and worked great. I was able to comb through my hair and detangle my hair effortlessly. I could smell the Sugar cookie scent in my hair afterward.

I would recommend the conditioner and the body washes to others. Kid’s would love all the different scents. This is a fun useful product that makes bathtime fun.
