About Wearever: The Prime Life Fiber story started back in the early nineties, when Bob Deerin noticed that a flourishing industry in Europe for reusableincontinence underwearhad no equivalent in the US market. Seeing an opportunity to provide a quality product at a lower overall cost, Bob and his partner in those early days started importing reusable incontinence undergarments from Europe.
Soon, however, the cost of doing so made it clear that these incontinence garments would need to be manufactured locally in order for the business to sustain itself. And so, in subcontracting the manufacturing to a Thomasville, North Carolina fabric company, Bob started down the path to Prime Life Fiber’s patented 3-layer Hydrex™ system for total protection.
I received a free product in hope I would mention them on my blog. I was not compensated or persuaded to write this review. All opinions are my own.
About Wearever Women’s Super Incontinence Panties:
Wearever Women’s Super Incontinence Panties offer twice as much protection as our already reliable panties. With the same comfort, style and reusability the Wearever brand has always delivered, reusable incontinence underwear are both an economical and reliable alternative to disposable incontinence products.
Our Super Incontinence Panties offer more protection than our regular Women’s Cotton Comfort Incontinence Panties and are soft, silky cotton/poly jersey with an Agion™ antimicrobial fiber, which reduces odor-causing bacteria. This pair of incontinence panties has a waterproof outer layer, which prevents leakage and provides you with double the protection.
Wearever’s Unique-Dri™ super absorbent, sewn-in pad, traps liquid and provides all-day protection. Our incontinence panties require no extra inserts or disposable pads and offer twice as much absorption as our Wearever Panty L-1. These Super Incontinence Panties are machine washable and last up to 250 washes!
My Review: They have a thick built in pad that has a waterproof backing on it to prevent any leaks from escaping. I gave these to someone I know that has nerve damage and has occasional leaks when she coughs, bends over or simply can’t make it to the toilet in time. She said they are comfortable but would like the waist band to be more stretchy. If you are on the high end on the hips measurement I would go to the next size up for a more comfortable fit. She tried them out around the house the first time she tried them. They worked out great and it didn’t leak through onto her clothing. She states she has more confidence when wearing them, when she is out and about. They are much more comfortable than a big pad or diaper. She says they clean well and loves that they are white, so you can bleach them. She would recommend them to others and says she will be buying more herself.
Those incontinence diapers and pads are costly. You will be saving money by purchasing these panties. This is the way to go. You can also get them for men.
